About the job
GasPedal’s next recruiting leader is a culture evangelist, talent scout, and tough evaluator who enables us to fulfill our mission by building a team of doers and leaders who share our vision and values. You run a principles- and process-based program that strengthens our culture. You do it through:
- Talent sourcing that brings a rich pipeline of candidates.
- Evangelism that tells the story of our mission, brand, and culture.
- Candidate experiences that are extraordinarily kind and sensitive.
- Interviewing with sophisticated techniques based on tough, objective standards.
- Process management that allows us to run a detail-oriented program at scale.
You’re a talent sourcer who creates a pipeline of talented culture fits. You’re able to look beyond the resume and understand the deeper traits that make someone a true fit for the job and the culture. You can open doors, entice, and excite.
You can tell our story. You are an evangelist who opens people’s eyes to the meaningfulness of our mission and the authenticity of our culture. You help them understand where they fit and how their life changes when they’re one of us.
You create amazing candidate experiences that leave everyone we touch happy to have met us. You create processes based on kindness and empathy to ensure that the candidate experience is perfect at every touchpoint, every time. You handle the tough talks with grace and sensitivity. When they’re done talking to us (whether or not they get the job), they should leave as a fan and a friend.
You are an uncompromising interviewer who evaluates based on objective standards for skills and culture. You have sophisticated interviewing techniques and will teach us how to be better interviewers.
You’re a process leader who runs an exquisitely well-managed program with obsessive attention to detail. You own the ATS, the workflow, and the nitty-gritty process. You build a rigorous processes that scales and ensures quality. You have high standards and expect the same of everyone.

Our entire public website is dedicated to recruiting and the recruiting brand. We built a custom ATS on top of Salesforce.com that enables us to recruit faster, easier, and better. We invest in tools from Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and whatever else you need.
