Microsoft: Learning (and playing) with Ribbon Hero

Ribbon Hero is a game designed to teach people more about Microsoft Office. Attend this session to learn how Microsoft is using elements of game play (points, competitions, challenges, and achievements) along with social networking (connecting to Facebook) to help people discover and gain mastery of Office functionality. Microsoft Office Labs’ Chris Pratley (General Manager) and Jennifer Michelstein (Program Manager) will demo and answer questions about Ribbon Hero. In addition to covering how the program works, we’ll discuss:
- The research that went into ensuring a fun experience
- The importance of involving Facebook
- The marketing behind one of the world’s most popular office platforms
