Last year, we told you about our plans to move our office to a 44-acre ranch in northeast Austin. It’s going to be a campus where we can get together and collaborate, retreat to private, quiet spaces, host community gatherings, and stretch our legs outdoors. (You can read more about that here.)
Since then, we’ve been finalizing plans with architects, throwing parties at our ranch house, and dreaming up new ways to share our space with others.
We’ll start construction on the new campus in early 2016, and to make it happen, we’ve been working with Texas Certified Development Company to secure a SBA 504 loan. Our goal is to change the economics of our business by investing the money we would be paying for rent into equity instead.
